1. Paneer Bhurji

Slender, savory and protein rich - delicious in the hands of children and grown ups.

Ingredients:
  • Dead cheese
  • Onion
  • Tomato
  • Chilli 
  • Turmeric
  • Salt
  • Coriander 
  •  Oil.

Step-by-Step:
  • Fry onion and chilli and heat oil.
  • Add tomato and cook till soft.
  • Add turmeric and salt.
  • Add the paneer and mix this and cook within 3-4 minutes.    

Enjoy with chapati or bread. 


2.Besan chilla (gram Flour Pancake)

Besan Chilla



A pancake, but savoury quick and made of high protein.

Ingredients:
  • Besan (gram flour)
  • Onion
  • Tomato
  • Coriander
  • Salt
  • Coriander
  • Chilli Powder
  • Water.

Step-by-Step:
  • Add all ingredients into water and combine to a smooth batter.
  • Pour one ladle on a hot tawa.
  • Place flat and cook each side until it is golden.

Serve with chutney or curd.

3.Poha (Flattened Rice)

Poha (Flattened Rice)


Light and soothing and good dinner and breakfast.

Ingredients:
  • Poha
  • Onion 
  • Green Chilli
  • Mustard Seeds 
  • Turmeric
  • Salt
  • Lemon Juice 
  • Oil.

Step-by-Step:
  • Using a small amount of water, wash poha, drain.
  • Add heat oil, mustard, onion, chilli and turmeric.
  • Add poha and salt, mix well.
  • Add lemon squeezer prior to consumption.

Hint: Peanuts can be roasted ahead of time and added to it.

Usually, we think of good food as something that takes a long time to cook. But in reality, most food just takes timing and some easy prep. Not only will they take a low amount of time to cook, you will also enjoy the food much more (without spending hours cooking, so all the time you eat the meal, you don't have a feeling of tiredness, stress, or anger.)
